Paperkin

Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

1. Who you are buying from

Paperkin is operated by Lora Labs AB, a Swedish limited company with company number 559595-2275 and VAT number SE559595227501, Skogsslingan 3, 182 30 Danderyd, Sweden ("we", "us"). You can reach us at founders@loralabs.co. These terms apply to every preview you create and every order you place. You must be 18 or older to order.

2. What we sell

We print books made to your order: personalized coloring books, story and text books, cookbooks, journals and photo books, as paperbacks, hardcovers or coil-bound books. We sell physical books only. We do not sell digital files, subscriptions or credits.

3. How ordering works

Through an AI assistant. You can describe a book to an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT, that has Paperkin connected. The assistant sends us your description, we create a free preview, and the assistant shows it to you with a link to this website. The assistant is run by its own provider under its own terms. It does not act for us, and it cannot place an order or take payment on your behalf.

Previews. New previews show the cover and interior pages of the selected format, including any pages added to meet binding requirements. Older previews may show a selection; check the preview note and page numbers. Changing the binding can change the number of added pages. Colors on screen can differ from print. The preview states whether your chosen format has black-and-white or full-color interiors; all cover formats support color. Previews are free, may be limited in number, and are deleted if they are not ordered.

Placing an order. You order on this website by choosing a binding and quantity, entering a delivery address, confirming that delivery is available, and paying through Stripe. The payment page shows the total including shipping and applicable tax. The contract between you and us is formed when your payment succeeds, and we confirm it on your order page.

4. Price and payment

Prices per book: personalized coloring book paperback US$24.99 or lay-flat coil binding US$29.99; story or text book paperback US$19.99 or hardcover US$34.99 or stapled booklet US$14.99; family cookbook lay-flat coil binding US$34.99 or paperback US$27.99; custom journal paperback US$17.99 or hardcover US$32.99; photo book hardcover US$44.99 or paperback US$34.99. Prices are in US dollars (USD). Shipping and any tax that applies are shown at checkout before you pay. Your card provider may convert the amount into your own currency and charge a fee for doing so.

Payment is taken in full when you order and is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order you have already paid for. If a price was shown wrongly because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Printing and delivery

Each book is printed after you order, normally within 3–5 business days, and then sent by post to the address you gave at checkout. We choose the carrier. Delivery times are estimates. You are responsible for giving a complete and correct address.

The book is your responsibility from the moment it is delivered to you or to someone you named. If it has not arrived 30 days after your order was confirmed, tell us and we will reprint it or refund you in full, as you prefer. Our Shipping Policy lists where we deliver, what it costs and how long it takes.

6. Cancelling, and why there is no 14-day withdrawal

You can cancel for a full refund until your book is sent to the printer. Email us with your order number as soon as you can.

Online purchases in the EU and the UK normally come with a 14-day right to withdraw. That right does not apply to goods made to the buyer's specifications or clearly personalized (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c), and the equivalent national laws). Every Paperkin book is made that way, so once printing has started the order cannot be withdrawn or returned for a change of mind. By ordering you acknowledge this.

7. If something is wrong with your book

If a book arrives damaged, misprinted, incomplete or different from what you ordered, email founders@loralabs.co within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will reprint and reship it free of charge or refund you, whichever you prefer. You do not need to send the faulty copy back. Our Refund Policy describes the process and how refunds are paid.

8. Your legal guarantee

Section 7 is in addition to the rights the law gives you. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the book must match its description and be free from faults, and you are entitled to a remedy if it is not, under the legal guarantee of conformity and, in Sweden, the Consumer Sales Act. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

9. What we print and what we do not

Coloring books must be suitable for children. In any book, you must not ask for, or supply text or images containing:

  • text, characters, logos, photographs or artwork that you do not own or have permission to print;
  • pictures of people who have not agreed to be in the book;
  • sexually explicit, hateful or unlawful content.

A member of our team may look at a book before it is printed. We may decline a request, or cancel an order with a full refund, if we believe it breaks these rules.

10. Your content and your book

The names, descriptions and images you give us for a book remain yours. You allow us to use them to create, preview, print and deliver that book, and for nothing else, and you confirm that you have the right to supply them and have them printed.

The printed book is yours. Coloring book drawings come from a shared library, so other customers' books contain the same drawings; they are based on OpenMoji artwork, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. We will not use your personalized book, or a child's name, in advertising without your permission.

11. Using the website and preview service

You may use the website and the preview service to create and order books for yourself or as gifts. You may not use them to resell previews, to overload or probe the service, to produce content that section 9 prohibits, or for anything unlawful. The website, its software, text and design belong to us.

The preview service is free and provided as it is. We try to keep it available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

12. Where we cannot deliver

We deliver only to the countries listed in our Shipping Policy. We cannot accept orders for delivery to a country, organization or person subject to sanctions imposed by the European Union, the United Nations, the United Kingdom or the United States.

13. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

Otherwise, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, up to the amount you paid for the order concerned. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses such as lost profit, or for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our reasonable control, although the remedies in sections 5 and 7 still apply.

14. Complaints and disputes

Contact us first at founders@loralabs.co and we will try to put things right. If you are a consumer in the EU and we cannot agree, you can take the dispute, free of charge, to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm). We take part in its proceedings.

We do not require arbitration, and we do not ask you to give up any right to join a collective action.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page; the date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in force when you placed an order applies to that order. If part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies.
